I'm Eddy Ramos, a front-end developer. I build responsive sites and front-end apps, from plain HTML and CSS through to React and TypeScript.
Below are four projects, one of them for a real client, and how each is put together.
01 Selected work

A website for Rolling Lawns Farm, a dairy that supplies milk and ice cream to markets and restaurants. It presents the product range and makes the tours at the farm and the Milk House easy to find.

A concept storefront for a sportswear brand, covering the shopping flow from the catalogue and its filters through to the cart and checkout. The checkout is simulated, so no payment is processed.

A website for Grouchy's Public House, a steakhouse and bar. The design reflects the restaurant's warm atmosphere and classic character, with easy access to the menu, photo gallery and visitor information.

A task manager that keeps its list in the browser. Each task carries an owner, a due date, a priority and notes, and the whole list can be searched, filtered and sorted.

My degree covered design, media and communication alongside web development, and front-end is the part I stayed with. What I enjoy is the build itself: the layout, the styling, the interactions, and getting it to hold together across screen sizes.
Most of what I know comes from building the projects above and reading how other people solve the same problems. I work in plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and in React with TypeScript.
03 Other builds
Momentum Athletics
A five page site for a community sports club. One shared stylesheet covers the
header, buttons and spacing across all five pages, and a scroll driven list swaps
the photo held in the sticky column beside it.

Leland Barbers
A barbershop site built around booking. Recent cuts swap from the before photo to
the after on hover, with a switch for touch screens, and the opening hours work out
from one array whether the shop is open right now.

BJJ Basics
A site for a jiu-jitsu academy, built to read like the real thing rather than a
demo. The training photos sit in a horizontal track that scrolls sideways while
the section is pinned, and becomes a normal swipeable row on a phone.

Weather App
Search a city and get the weather right now plus a five day forecast, from the
OpenWeather API. The whole page switches between English and Spanish without
reloading, and the background colour changes with the weather.
